The Fireman Hospitality Group’s flagship concept will be occupying 7,000 square feet at 1001 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. The scenic location will include an outdoor patio, where Cafe Fiorello diners can observe the local scenery. The sprawling space has not been occupied since the Tadich Grill shut down in 2018.

News of DC’s latest New York import broke very recently, and an opening timeline is not currently available.

Cafe Fiorello, known for its interpretations of authentic Italian cuisine, will benefit from the strategic location of the Pennsylvania Avenue space. Fireman Hospitality states: “In the heart of Washington, D.C. directly in between the Capitol Building and White House, the space is right in the midst of political, business, and tourist activities. Pennsylvania Avenue is home to numerous government offices. This means that it’s a hub for political activities, and a restaurant in this area will attract politicians, government officials, and those doing business with them.”
