The bakery will be opening its third DC store in a retail space located at 575 7th Street, NW. An opening timeline is not currently available, however signage is up, suggesting the buildout will commence in the near future.
Fresh Baguette’s Penn Quarter location comes hot on the heels of the bakery’s latest DC opening. The chain debuted a Cleveland Park shop on February 21 of this year.
Fresh Baguette made its first impression on the DMV dining scene in 2013, when it opened its first storefront in Bethesda. The bakery currently has six locations spread across Maryland, Virginia, and DC.
While the bread is the star of Fresh Baguette’s menu, the eatery offers hungry visitors many options, both sweet and savory. The concept features everything from sandwiches to pastries to cakes, with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients and carefully cultivated technique.
