The eatery, helmed by the same team behind the Barcelona Wine Bar, is eyeing the 7,200 square feet at 11950 Democracy Drive that formerly housed Mon Ami Gabi. While management behind Corsica Wine Bar is currently remaining non-committal about future plans, an LLC was filed for Corsica Wine Bar Reston in January 2024.

Corsica Wine Bar is a brand new concept, preparing to make its debut in Denver, Colorado. The brand describes what customers can expect from the upcoming project, stating “Corsica is an escapist small-plates restaurant inspired by the rustic coasts of France, Italy, and the namesake Mediterranean island that lies between them. The menu, led by James Beard Award-winning Chef Patrick Connolly, draws from the European coastal villages it is inspired by while celebrating local, seasonal ingredients. Corsica, born from the team behind Barcelona Wine Bar, will boast a compelling wine list that features, among many others, Coastal European and Corsican wines. The cocktail program will focus on the effortlessly fun and delicious aperitivo, amaro, and spritz culture of the Mediterranean.”
