Her former Shaw bar Hanumanh is scheduled to reopen as Baan Mae. An opening date is yet to be announced.

The new restaurant applied for a liquor license application for the spot at 1604 7th Street, N.W., which is expected to seat up to 30 guests indoors and another 30 guests outdoors.

Lugangrath, who is famous for her Loa cuisine, had plans to open a fast-casual bistro called Met Khao, replacing her existing Padaek restaurant in Falls Church.

She recently opened her Lao and Thai restaurant Padaek in the Arlington Ridge Shopping Center.

Padaek was the first eatery that Luangrath launched before opening several other concepts, including Hanumanh.
