The beloved Mexican restaurant is one of several businesses moving into the sprawling facility known as Metropolitan Park. Located at 1400 South Eads Street, the space will feature two towers covering 50,000 square feet, and hosting 14 retailers.

Taqueria Xochi will be opening the doors of its Pentagon City location this summer. The season will prove both busy and fruitful for the burgeoning business; owner Geraldine Mendoza is also taking her concept to DC’s Navy Yard.

Taqueria Xochi currently has two DC locations in operation; a stand-alone shop on U Street and a food hall location in The Square. Future guests can look forward to enjoying authentic, delicious Mexican fare. Taqueria Xochi’s Arlington location will give the establishment another chance to fulfill its mission statement, stated clearly and concisely on its website: “Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to share the authentic flavors and warmth of Mexican home-style and street foods with our community.”
