The eatery, coming to 5125 MacArthur Boulevard, NW, will focus on serving fresh, seasonal dishes. The Conduit Road website states that the restaurant intends to use locally sourced ingredients, attained from farmer’s markets.

The establishment sites supply chain complications as a contributing factor in the delays it has faced. The website states “We are very thankful for all the inquiries about Conduit Road and our timeline. As you can imagine, we anxiously await the day we can open our doors to serve all of you. Currently we are firmly in the grip of supply chain delays, but are moving as quickly as possible. Please check back for further updates! Thank you for all your support!”

However, in recent weeks, curious locals have noted work crews buzzing around the building. Most recently, an observer noted what appeared to be the creation of a countertop or bar. While an opening date is not currently available, the resumption of construction suggests the restaurant could be open before the end of 2024.
