Starbucks, located at 4526 Cherry Hill Road, is absorbing the space formerly occupied by Facets Fine Jewelry. The Lee Heights Shops cafe ceased operations on May 6, with plans to debut its new and improved interior later this summer, though a precise date is not yet available. The shop is in the process of hiring staff for the location.
In addition to providing greater indoor space, the expansion will allow Starbucks to offer more outdoor seating to visitors hoping to enjoy the local scenery as they savor their drinks and snacks.
Arlington residents will still be able to scratch their caffeine itches while waiting for the cafe to complete its upgrade; Starbucks has around two dozen locations operating in the region.
