The concept is moving into 215 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, a space that previously housed Firehook Bakery. Dos Toros’ latest DC location does not yet have an opening date available. However, signage is up and indicating that the restaurant will begin greeting guests soon.

Dos Toros, having already established a strong home-base in New York, has been building a presence in DC. The eatery has two locations already open in the District; one in Chinatown and the other in Dupont Circle.

Dos Toros opened its first brick and mortar in 2009, with the intention of bringing San Francisco’s Mission-style burritos to the East Coast. The passion project of brothers Leo and Oliver Kremer, the restaurant has earned a considerable fanbase through its use of fresh ingredients and slow cooking. Visitors can look forward to enjoying a full range of Mexican favorites, from burritos, to tacos, to bowls.

Dos Toros allows customers the chance to customize their dining experience; patrons select their protein, toppings, and sides. The restaurant even offers breakfast burritos for guests hoping to start their day right.
