The concept, founded and owned by master sommelier Jarad Slipp, will be occupying 2,000 square feet at 721 East Main Street, an area that is considerably larger than Knead’s Middlesburg location. The eatery has big plans for the extra space; the Purcellville shop will feature a dining room that can accommodate up to 50 customers, as well as an outdoor patio with room for 16 patrons.

Knead’s second location will continue to serve the pizza the restaurant has become known for, however the Purvellville menu will also feature salads and other items that are notably absent from its current home. Additionally, customers will be able to satisfy sweet cravings with soft serve ice cream and chocolate chip cookies.

Of course, Knead will focus heavily on serving the best possible wine. Slipp is one of 270 master sommeliers spread across the globe, and his wealth of knowledge and experience is certain to ensure every visitor finds the correct sip for their palate.

The company has not announced an opening date, saying only that it intends to begin serving customers at some point this summer.
