The venerable eatery will be leaving its Alexandria home for a 2,015 square foot space in the Milton building, at 1446 South Grant Street. Owner and chef, Shao Bruce is aiming for a late summer or early fall soft opening period.

Bruce previously explained the allure of the new location to ARLNow, saying “We chose to relocate to Pentagon City because it offers us a wide base of both residential and office business to draw from and is projected to be one of the fastest growing markets locally.”

Yunnan by the Potomac offers guests a unique and delicious taste of Southwest Chinese cuisine. The menu features dishes including a wide range of bao buns, jiaozi dumplings, and shaokao barbecue, as well as mixian noodles, the restaurant’s specialty.
