The venerable Virginia winery has purchased a building located at 1 East Market Street. The establishment, owned and operated by the Huber family, intends to dedicate a portion of the building, which formerly housed Primis Bank, to creating a cozy and welcoming tasting lounge.

The tasting lounge does not have an official name or opening date. However, the Hubers are hoping to open their doors and decant their wines in fall of 2024.

Stone Tower Winery takes pride in producing Virginia wines, from Virginia grapes. The vineyard taps into the state’s rich history and fertile soil to craft delicious wines, certain to delight the palette of even the most discerning sommelier. The Stone Tower Winery website clarifies the brands purpose, stating: “Combined with steep slopes and constant airflow, these soils give our vines the ‘struggle’ necessary to produce concentrated, intensely flavored grapes for our premium estate wines. With the estate label, everything has been thought about, designed, and treated with a single pursuit in mind: to produce the greatest possible bottle of wine.”
