A popular pizzeria is making plans to spread its authentic Neapolitan-style pies further across the DMV. Arlington-based Pupatella is actively looking to expand across the region, reports local media outlet ARL Now.
The eatery has not landed on any specific locations yet, however it is in active talks with landlords, scouting potential spaces for new storefronts. CEO Jim Biafore explains that Pupatella is in demand right now, creating a great deal of opportunity for the concept. He states: ““We’re actively looking for locations. In fact, we’re in a very enviable situation where landlords are calling us. They’re redeveloping properties and people are calling us and want us to be their pizza guy. So it’s a fantastic place to be, where we can actually field calls about if a particular development is right for us.”
Pupatella currently has 10 locations in operation, with another 2 set to open soon. Biafore believes that the pizzeria’s focus on simplicity without sacrificing quality makes it a valuable commodity to landlords. He states ““It’s quality ingredients done in a very simple way, but comes out with a really quality product. And that’s, I think, really emblematic of the clientele that we serve.”
