Georgetown residents hoping for a new favorite spot to enjoy a little sweetness will have their wish granted this year. Growing local chain, Ice Cream Jubilee, is opening in the region this spring.

The brand, celebrated for its unique flavors, will be serving treats at 3333 M Street NW.

Ice Cream Jubilee is owned and operated by the Picnic Group. Co-founder and CMO Laura O’Shaughnessy confirmed to What Now DC that the Georgetown location will be opening in March of this year. 

Victoria Lai created Ice Cream Jubilee in 2014. The brand has garnered immense praise since its inception, earning the title “Best Ice Cream in Washington DC” nine times. Tastemade, Food & Wine, Alton Brown, and Travel & Leisure have all dubbed it one of the best ice cream shops in America.

Georgetown ice cream aficionados can look forward to sampling beloved classics like bold vanilla and salted caramel, as well as a range of more surprising scoops, including banana bourbon caramel and mango sticky rice.
